I got guitar hero!

So after my rant the other day, I wandered down to the shopping center and discovered that EB had guitar hero world tour 360  in stock!  Obviously over priced, but took this as a sign that everyone had stock so ran up to kmart.  Still no stock there though :(  Wandered back down to EB to have a look just to see if I had imagined it.  It was there, but no prices.  Waited to ask the guy at the counter how much.

"Can I help you mate?"

"Just wondering how much xbox360 guitar hero world tour complete bundle costs?"

"Hang on. " type type type "It's $330"

"..."

"...But we'll price match"

"Well, kmart's selling it for $280"

"Ah... yup I can do it for that"

Hurrah!  that was a lot easier than i would expect.  So I say I also need an xbox and so point at the package they had.  The guy and now manager that have appeared start preparing the xbox (had to find one of the bundled games).  Finally they get it all together, and the original guy rings it up on the register while the manager is next to him doing something else.  need some dialog specs for this one.  I'm I, Manager is M, other dude is D

D "So that's $280 for Guitar Hero..."

M "$280! where did you get that from?"

D "Kmart"

M "No, we're not matching with Kmart, they've got no stock"

I "Well Big W has it for that price as well"

M "They've got no stock either." some rant he goes on then saying that they broke some WOW street date and so now they aren't getting any guitar hero stock. "JB Hifi has it for $290, I can do that for you. It's only $10 more"

I "Well Dick Smith is doing it for $280 as well!"

M to D "Ok, well ring Dick Smith and see if they have any stock"

M now gets interrupted by another customer who wants some help

D to I "Do you know the number for Dick Smith?"

I "no"

D looks to check M is busy

D "It's fine mate I'll do it for $280"

So glad I ended up getting it for the price I was originally told I could get it for.  Was quite unimpressed with the manager waiting till I'd picked everything out, and then trying to bump up the price.  If it's 'only $10' higher, why don't they swallow that and honour the original price quoted to the customer.  Ah well, thankfully the non-manager wasn't a dick.

So i've been playing the game the last week and it's much fun.  The drums are frustrating though, the symbols are just to unresponsive.  Need to order the USB tuning device so I can up the sensitivity.
